Who Are We?
The general purpose of the Enid Gem and Mineral Society is to promote interest in various earth sciences, and in particular, the subjects of geology, mineralogy, paleontology, lapidary and other related subjects. Our club encourages mineral and rock collecting and lapidary workmanship as hobbies. We hold monthly meetings with educational programs and offer field trip opportunities and other related activities. We also hold an annual gem and mineral show for the community in November of each year.

The Enid, Oklahoma Gem and Mineral Society was organized in 1958 to promote interest in various earth sciences, especially rocks, minerals, fossils, gem stones, jewelry arts and lapidary arts. We promote good fellowship among members by helping and teaching one another.
